Finally! Thank you, Jesus! We have arrived at the New Testament, which starts with the gospels, the Good News of Jesus’ life and ministry. Whew, I know many of us are ready to turn a new page but here we start in Matthew’s gospel with a quick reminder to not throw away everything we have read so far. In fact, it’s a stern warning that the law and prophets are not to be ignored but their words must be the foundation of our righteousness as we follow this new radical Jesus.
