When God Gives You a Gift
God has uniquely made us, so how can we live our lives to our fullest potential? One way is to discover, understand, and use the Spiritual Gifts that God has given us to meet the needs and purposes of God’s church.
Spiritual Gifts are given to us by God. We don’t choose our gifts or earn them. By using our God-given Spiritual Gifts, we help God fulfill His purpose here on earth.

Administration
The gift of Administration is the God-given ability to understand what makes an organization function and the special ability to plan and execute procedures that accomplish the goals of the group or organization.Discerment
The gift of Discernment is the God-given ability to distinguish between truth and error. It is being able to discern the difference between good and evil, right and wrong, truth and deception.Encouragement
The gift of Encouragement is the God-given ability to present words of comfort, consolation, and encouragement so as to strengthen or urge to action those who are discouraged or wavering in their faith.Evangelism
The gift of Evangelism is the God-given ability to effectively communicate the Gospel to nonbelievers so they respond in faith and move toward discipleship.Faith
The gift of Faith is the God-given ability to act on God’s promises with confidence and unwavering belief in God’s ability to fulfill his purposes.Giving
The gift of Giving is the God-given ability to contribute money and resources to the work of the Lord with cheerfulness and generosity.Helps
The gift of Helps is the God-given ability to accomplish practical and necessary behind-the-scenes tasks, which frees up, supports, and meets the needs of others.Hospitality
The gift of Hospitality is the God-given ability to care for people by providing friendly reception, food, and lodging.Intercession
The gift of Intercession is the God-given ability to consistently pray on behalf of and for others, seeing frequent and specific results.Knowledge
The gift of Knowledge is the God-given ability to learn, analyze, and uncover insights from the Bible that are pertinent to the growth and well-being of the church.Leadership
The gift of Leadership is the God-given ability to cast vision, motivate, and direct people to harmoniously accomplish the purposes of God.Mercy
The gift of Mercy is the God-given ability to feel deeply for those in physical, spiritual, or emotional need and then demonstrate actions to meet those needs.Prophecy
The gift of Prophecy is the God-given ability to reveal God’s truth and proclaim it in a timely and relevant manner for understanding, correction, repentance, or edification.Sheperding
The gift of Shepherding is the God-given ability to assume long-term personal responsibility for the spiritual welfare of an individual or small group of Christ-followers by nurturing and guiding them toward ongoing spiritual maturity.Teaching
The gift of Teaching is the God-given ability to understand, clearly explain, and apply the Word of God in such a way that it is clearly understood by others.Wisdom

Complete an assessment to learn your unique Spiritual Gifts and then get connected with the church or in our community to use your special gifts.

Pray | After being introduced to your Spiritual Gifts, be sure to pray and ask God how He wants you to use the gifts that He gave you.
Read the Scriptures | Learn more about Spiritual Gifts through the scriptures. Check out these Bible scriptures: Romans 12: 6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, 28-30, Ephesians 4:11, and 1 Peter 4:11.

Send cards and/or make phone calls to the congregation following surgery, an illness, or a difficult time.
Media and Sound Technician | Helps / Administration / Leadership
Provide media (A/V) support for Sunday worship.
Children’s Church Assistant |
Helps / Shepherding / Leadership
Assist with Children’s Church at
8:30 or 11 a.m. Sundays.
Nursery Volunteer | Mercy / Shepherding / Helps
Help nurture the littlest members of our church family on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights.
Usher | Hospitality / Helps
Greet the congregation, count worship attendees, and assist with seating.
Greeter | Hospitality / Helps
Welcome members and guests on Sunday mornings or during special events as they enter the front doors. Answer questions and guide visitors and guests.
Youth Connect Volunteer | Leadership / Shepherding / Teaching / Encouragement
Serve as an adult leader for youth activities and events on Sunday afternoons.
Vocalist/Instrumentalist | Encouragement / Leadership / Helps
Share the gift of song or an instrument during any worship service.
Christian Community Action Food Pantry Volunteer | Helps / Mercy
Help sack groceries at the CCA Food Pantry.
Loaves and Fishes Ministry | Helps / Mercy
Pick up items from local grocery stores and transport them to the CCA Food Pantry.
