Christina is originally from Florida, where she first discovered her love of working with children as a YMCA volunteer in local elementary and middle schools. After graduating high school, she was hired as a site director at a local elementary school for the YMCA’s before and after school programs. During the summer, she was a camp counselor for first and second graders. After moving to Texas, Christina went to work for a telecommunications company, where she has been a full-time employee for almost 20 years. As Director of Customer Service and Field Support, she missed her love of working with children and jumped at the opportunity to serve as nursery supervisor. She has loved the experience of helping raise her twin grandsons and is thrilled to use her skills and love of children to Vista Ridge UMC.
