The disabled and the sick were often the unseen people in Jesus’s time. Perhaps they are today as well. In healing the disabled and the sick, Jesus not only showed compassion for their physical bodies, but he helped restore the broken relationships they had with their communities. Today, the church too has a call to help restore broken relationships.
