Hannah Rachal

Hannah Rachal

Director of Traditional Music

Originally from Louisiana, Hannah moved to Texas during fall 2018 to pursue a master’s degree in sacred music from Southern Methodist University. After finding her passion for church music and graduating from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in sacred music, Hannah followed a calling that led her to Perkins School of Theology and the church family of Vista Ridge UMC. Though she often longs for Mardi Gras season, Saints’ football, and spicier food, she finds boundless joy through studying, planning, and creating of worship with those whom God has ordained her to be in ministry. When Hannah’s not studying or leading a rehearsal, you can find her listening to jazz music, reading a historical fiction novel, practicing calligraphy, drinking coffee, or participating in any combination of these activities!
