Youth Pastor and Worship Leader

Daira has been mentoring teenagers since she graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a degree in commercial music. She has worked with hundreds of teenagers throughout the past decade in different settings including Methodist churches, performing arts schools, and radio. While in Nashville she worked with Dawson McAllister on the radio show, The Hopeline, coaching and blogging for teenagers dealing with anorexia, depression, and suicide. Additionally, Daira has worked as a session singer with some of the top Christian worship artists in Nashville and wrote and recorded a full-length CD. She is also the founder/designer of Free and Crowned, a designer headband company that gives 25 percent of proceeds to human trafficking victims. She is currently finishing a book called Honest to Goodness Joy and receiving her master’s degree in media arts and worship from Dallas Theological Seminary.
