Vista Ridge United Methodist Church is co-sponsoring along with other churches Faith in Democracy Dallas—Texas Impact’s annual engagement training and celebration—on Sunday, September 11. It will be held from 2-5 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1816 Routh Street, in Dallas. Register online for the free event. About this Event | Faith in Democracy is your opportunity to reflect with Dallas area faith leaders about why civic engagement is necessary for faith communities. Hear Texas Impact’s plans for the 2023 legislative session to make informed decisions and gather outreach tools to use your voice to advocate for others.

The Schedule | The event kicks off with a faith leader panel and advocacy toolkit, followed by breakout sessions and table conversations. The issues that will be discussed are economic justice, climate justice, civic engagement, and human rights.
