Our church ministry began 30 years ago and we will celebrate on Sunday, April 24, 2022, with worship, lunch and service to our community. We will begin the morning with a churchwide worship service at 10 a.m., followed by lunch and fellowship. Then, we will serve the community. Hope you will join us for this special day!
Sunday, March 24 | The Next 30 Years! | One Worship Service at 10 a.m.
The Sunday following Easter we read the story of doubting Thomas. He isn’t sure of all the stories of people seeing the Resurrected Lord. Finally, Jesus appears to him in the Upper Room but shares an important lesson, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe. (John 20:29)” Maybe the last few years have left a lot of us with doubt. Will things ever be the same again? Will the church survive? As we gather to celebrate 30 years of ministry at Vista Ridge UMC, let’s look boldly at “The Next 30 Years!”
Reserved Lunches | Orders have been placed for those who reserved a boxed lunch for Sunday. Lunches can be picked up after the worship service in the Welcome Center. Please select the one(s) with your name listed on the box.
If you were unable to make a lunch reservation, you are welcome to bring a lunch or you will have time to place a to-go order from Market Street or a nearby restaurant and join in the lunch and fellowship.
Lunch Love Offering | A love offering is being accepted for the boxed lunches. Offerings can be placed in the offering plates or the lockbox on Sunday morning. Please indicate lunch love offering on your check memo or cash envelope. To give by credit card, indicate lunch love offering in the note/memo area.
The recording of each service is available after the livestream.
